5th Grade Music Program

• Registration for the 5^th grade music program starts the first week of school.
• Music takes place during school hours.
• Students do not miss any academic instructional time when they participate in music. 
• No prior musical experience is necessary to participate in our music program. Students start learning how to play their instrument from the very beginning. If your student already has musical experience, that's great! They will catch on quickly. 
• Students are can choose to play: violin, cello, trumpet, trombone, saxophone, flute, or clarinet.

 

 

• Students participating in band are responsible for bringing their instruments every Tuesday.
• Starting October 1, there is a no-save policy, meaning instruments cannot be dropped off in the office if a student forgets it.
