Please note that where you see specific product names (i.e. Crayola, Ticonderoga, etc.) we would appreciate that these brands be purchased. We are not “label snobs”, but have found through years of experience that these products last longer and are of better quality. Thank you!

Please do NOT label the items with your child’s name! Supplies are used in a community setting and taken out when needed. 

  1. At Back to School Night, first grade teachers would like to extend the invitation to make a $20 cash donation to cover the cost of items we use for the class which are better purchased as a class set. An example of such would be our writing composition books with special primary lines. Thank you for considering helping in this way.
  2. Mid year, we would also be reaching out to help replenish things like reams of paper, Ziploc bags and baby wipes; all which take up valuable space in our cupboards and are used daily.

Dear Parents, 


Here is our supply list for your “Back to School” shopping. The supplies listed below will be stored in the classroom for daily use. All donations are voluntary and a donation is not required to participate in any school activity. Please do not label any supplies, they are community supplies and will be distributed to the students in class.

     
  Per student: 


  • All students will need a backpack. 
  • Headphones (small size, NO bluetooth) and mouse (Please label)
  • 2 black Sharpie markers (fine and ultra fine are needed)
  • 3-4 Reams Copy paper (white) 
  • 1 Composition book (wide ruled 9 ¾ x 7 ½ ) 
  • 1 box of Crayola crayons, 24 pack (No RoseArt please!) 
  • 1 box of Crayola markers (thick) (No RoseArt please!) 
  • 1 box of Crayola markers (thin) (No RoseArt please!) 
  • 1 box of Crayola colored pencils (No RoseArt please!)
  • 1 highlighter (yellow, pink, or green preferred)

FIFTH GRADE

Dear Parents of Fifth Graders, 


We would like to welcome you and your child to 5th grade! This is a list of suggested supplies that will be helpful to keep your student organized and ready for an exciting year at Morning Creek.  August is a great time to stock-up on supplies, so watch for deals!


  • 3-ring binder/notebook - 1.5” maximum  (NO Trapper Keepers)
  • 3 composition books (college or wide ruled) get different colors, if possible
  • 1 ream of plain white, copy paper
  • 3-hole zipper pencil pouch (please no pencil boxes) 
  • 1 set of colored tab notebook dividers—write on style (5 tabs per set) 
  • 2 Plastic folders with prongs and pockets
  • 24 #2 TICONDEROGA pencils with erasers (pencils should be pre-sharpened) 

**NO MECHANICAL pencils

  • 2 highlighters (different colors)
  • 3 colored pens (thin line) for correcting 
  • 1 set of 12-24 CRAYOLA colored pencils  
  • 1 box of 24 CRAYOLA crayons (small one to keep at the desk, larger boxes stay in backpack)
  • 1 box CRAYOLA thick classic markers
  • 12” ruler- with 3 holes for placing in binder (showing inches and centimeters) 
  • 4 large ELMERS glue sticks
  • 4 SHARPIE black pens – 2 fine point and 2 ultra-fine point 
  • 2 large erasers (Pentel white polymer)
  • Scissors (7 inch, pointed) for older students
  • 3 packs of Post-it Brand sticky notes (NOT accordion style)
  • 5 EXPO BLACK dry erase markers (large are better than small pens)
  • Dry erase/white board eraser (or athletic type sock, cut up t-shirt, etc. for erasing boards)
  • 1 container disinfectant cleaning wipes
  • 1 box of Kleenex 
  • 1 pack of 3x5 lined index cards
  • *A pair of corded  earbuds or headphones (to keep at school) (State testing prohibits wireless headphones)

*NOTE: These will NOT be part of the School Supply Kits.


  • HELPFUL tool:  a wired or wireless mouse for chromebook usage. (many students like having one and our classrooms no longer have class sets)
