About us
The Poway Unified School District Foundation and the Palomar Council PTA collaborate each year to sponsor The Giving Tree (a 501-c organization).

Each year, the schools in our district nominate families that could use some extra help over the holidays. These families fill out "wish lists" of what their children need (mainly clothes, shoes, and school supplies) and something they'd like ... maybe just one fun gift.
​
A small number of volunteers work tirelessly to collect, sort, and deliver the donations given in a respectful way. This allows 100% of donations to go to the families in need with no overhead costs.
​
The Giving Tree has successfully brightened the holidays of so many families in our school district for over two decades.
